The Togolese Head of State, Faure Gnassingbé exchanged Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Lomé with the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the African Guarantee Fund / African Guarantee Fund (AGF), Félix Bikpo.
The meeting allowed the PCA to present to the President of the Republic, the ambition of the AGF to strengthen its partnership with Togo in terms of financing SMEs / SMIs and the promotion of green finance.
The AGF aims to facilitate access to financing for SMEs in order to enable them to fully play their role as engine of growth for African economies. Thus, since June 2021, the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) has been supporting the Togolese government in the entrepreneurship of women and young people, job creation and the financing of agricultural value chains.
The occasion allowed Mr. Félix Bikpo to congratulate the Head of State for his commitment to the financial industry and the promotion of investments in a public-private partnership.
