The Head of State Félix Tshisekedi launched, this Thursday, June 20, at the Lubumbashi station square (Haut-Katanga), the trains offered to the Kaniama Kasese National Service. This inaugural ceremony took place in the presence of various political and administrative authorities, particularly the governor of the Haut-Katanga province, Jacques Kyabula Katwe, the general director of the national railway company in Congo (SNCC) Fabien Mutomb, and Commander of the National Service (SN).

In his welcome address, Jacques Kyabula thanked the President of the Republic for the choice made on the province of Haut-Katanga due to the launch of national service trains and hopes that he will return to inaugurate the new building of the Provincial Assembly currently being finished, located on Avenue du 30 Juin.
The Head of State took part aboard one of the locomotives together with Governor Jacques Kyabula and Fabien Mutomb, Managing Director of the SNCC for the official launch of these trains driven by young machinists from Kaniama Kasese on the Place de la central station in Lubumbashi.
