The government intends to continue its financial support for road transport professionals. A new tranche of exceptional support will be paid soon.
“The registration operation for the granting of additional exceptional support intended for road transport professionals will start on Monday, March 27 via the” mouakaba.transport.gov.ma” platform, indicates the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
This payment is in addition to the 9 tranches of support already granted to professionals to deal with price fluctuations and preserve the purchasing power of citizens, given the current economic situation. The value of this tenth installment of support will not differ from the amounts that have been disbursed previously.
But we do not know if it will be followed by others. What we do know, however, is that the Ministry of Transport wants to find a definitive solution to this problem thanks to the bill relating to the comparison of road transport prices with fuel prices.
Last January, the professional federations and associations were invited to comment on the said project before submitting it to the General Secretariat of the Government (SGG), for its approval in the Council of Government, then its presentation to Parliament.
This bill provides for the revision of the price of road transport each time the growth rate of fuel prices exceeds 5%.
