Road safety, a top priority!!! “, he wrote, expressing his dismay at this new tragedy which is reminiscent of other deadly accidents that have occurred in the past.
This reaction is not isolated. The Minister of Transport, El Malick Ndiaye, also became aware of the urgency to act. Indeed, in the wake of the accident, he went to Koungheul to assess the situation on the ground. Additionally, he announced several upcoming measures aimed at strengthening safety on the roads, including the implementation of stricter speed limits, banning vehicle overloading, among other initiatives.
