Carole Anne-Lise LOKOSSOU is a beautiful Beninese actress, dancer and vocalist whose warm and guttural voice sublimates a charismatic body with multiple expressions. A former resident of Ensemble Artistique et Culturel des Etudiants (The Artistic and Cultural Group of Benin Students), Carole LOKOSSOU refined her art at the Arab-African Center for Theater Research in Tunisia. She spent six years there during which she specialized in organic theater (acting and staging) under the direction of Tunisian director and actor director Ezzedine Gannoun.

Once she graduated, she left to live her passion alongside directors such as Ousmane Aledji, Hermas Gbaguidi, Camille Amouro, Dine Alougbine, Bruno Thircuir, Barbara Liebster, Pascal N'zonzi, Emmanuel Daumas, Phillipe Adrien, José Renault , Marielle Pinsard with whom she traveled around the world. Also caught up in the cinema, Carole LOKOSSOU pierces the cinematographic world with great directors such as Pablo César, Christiane Chabi Kao, Ignace Yetchénou, Hervé Djossou, Kissmath Baguiri, Jean Odoutan, Dreid Moussoukoula etc. Her preference goes to characters that combine voice, body and soul in a unique symbiosis. Her credo: “Like a lawyer, giving substance to the character, defending it, pushing it far, making it loved, making it hated, bringing it to life and letting it go… when it’s all over… to give substance to another. »

Today, Carole LOKOSSOU has reached maturity and intends to share her art with her living environment. She specializes in formal and informal training in the performing and audiovisual arts within Association culturelle Rênes D’Afrique (the Cultural Association Rênes D’Afrique), which she chairs. Thus, through training mainly in organic acting, it equips young comedians and actors. On the strength of her experience of more than two decades of acting and directing actors, this African woman crisscrosses the African stages and sets where she spreads among the actors the desire to achieve a refined acting, in the economy of gesture or according to the Acting for the Camera method.

If Carole LOKOSSOU touches on all development issues, she is much more focused on the fight against violence against women, the fight against different forms of stigmatization, literacy and socio-cultural development, a major guarantee of political and economic development. . His hobby? Going through theater and cinema for a more civic engagement within society.
