TOPIC : In Africa, and especially in these times, there is a temptation to manipulate some African youth by some Africans against the West and even with the complicity of other powers hostile to the West. But it is these same Africans who have the propensity to show successes of BLACKS especially outside the African continent and especially in the West to express their pride and celebrate their Pan-Africanism.

And yet, we know that Africans in general and BLACKS in particular who are celebrated in this way and who are the pride of their countries of origin and of the continent would never have succeeded in achieving their full potential if they had remained inside the African continent. Quite simply because Education and Research, which constitute important pillars of any emancipation, are not up to what is needed for African youth. In addition, they are not yet perceived to be taken into account in a regional and continental manner by African rulers in order to pool the costs and benefits to be more efficient and effective. And each African country thinks it can manage on its own, which amounts to obeying the Myth of Sisyphus.

As Serge-Félix N’Piénikoua said: "The peoples of African countries have this propensity to complain of being rich in their basements but paradoxically poor in everyday reality. This is certainly true. But what's the point of having an underground full of natural resources if you can't exploit them yourself, because you don't master the technologies necessary for this purpose and you always have to wait for strangers to come alon to do it in your place before giving you back let's say crumbs. The peoples of Black Africa have quite simply forgotten that if the great civilization of ancient Egypt collapsed overnight, it was above all for lack of scholars to continue to transmit the education which had enabled them to build the greatest civilization of all time. Because knowledge, as a skill, is all that can remain for any man or any people when all his material goods are taken from him and he has lost everything except his life".

QUESTION: What needs to be done in African countries so that the Brains of Africa, wherever they go, return to Africa to exercise their arts, talents or skills? Or at least that most don't stay in the West?
