Hope High British International Schools, Abakaliki has been recognized for her exploits and quality, standard and internationally recognized system of teaching and learning. The recent feat achieved by the School located at Onwe road, Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, was the full certification of the school as Cambridge International School, haven met all the requirements for the award of the the prestigious Certificate.
The Head of Schools, Hope High British International Schools, Abakaliki, Mrs. Chinonso Anthony announced this in Abakaliki at the official presentation of the Certificate to the Chairman and members of the School Management Board.
Mrs. Anthony enumerated other achievements of the School to include wining three gold medals, two silver medals, four Bronze medals and several certificates of recognition in African English Olympia Competition. First and third positions in Senior category and third position in the Junior category in the Nigeria National Essay Competition organized by Living and Design Nations, and award of certificate as most technological advanced schools in the State by STEM kids international among others.
The Head of Schools also emphasized that the latest feat and certificate from Cambridge International School has further repositioned Hope High British International Schools to run complete British International Curriculum which would prepare her pupils and students to fit in properly in any part of the world.
In his remark , the Chairman of the School Management Board, Professor Ike-Elechi Ogba who received the certificate on behalf of the School Board, described the Certificate as a milestone, emphasizing that the School is breeding intellectual, competent, self reliant and problem solving-oriented Children who can excel in any part of the world. He called on parents across the Country and the State in particular to utilize the uncommon educational opportunity inherent in Hope High British International Schools to reposition the future of their children, as they combines practicals, local and international curriculum to train their pupils and students.
On her part, a female member of the Board, Mrs. Iyke Ogbo Pauline, said the Certification by Cambridge International School was never a product of accident, but a reward for deliberate and positive actions of the school, including conduceive environment, modern day teaching and learning culture. She also explained that residents of Ebonyi State and beyond who desire to seat for any International examinations, would no longer need to go to other States for such exams since Hope High British International Schools now offer such services.
Present at the official presentation of the certificate were other members of the board, including Chief Celestine Nwele, Elder U.S Udu, Barr. Kelechi Mbam among others.
