TOURISM/AFRICA: The most attractive African countries according to Bloom Consulting

Bloom Consulting has published its Country Brand Ranking Tourism Edition 2022-2023 for Africa. The countries that communicate to attract tourists or to attract tourist investment do not change into the front runners. But there is some progress recorded by others who have so far been far behind this positioning.

Present in Spain, Portugal and Brazil, Bloom Consulting is a Spanish consulting firm. It is specialized in what is called Nation Branding. Its work involves focusing on national brand and local brand projects, including research for tourism, foreign direct investment and public diplomacy.

According to the latest ranking of the most attractive countries in Africa, see its Country Brand Ranking Tourism Edition 2022-2023 report, Egypt is at the top of the pyramid. And then follow the most touristic countries of the continent already well known to tourism professionals and travelers. Among them, Tanzania has improved its position.

Among the countries that are not subscribers to this circle of countries whose national policies and investments have traditionally been attractive for several decades, there is Nigeria, which is making remarkable progress.

Each year, Bloom Consulting publishes the Bloom Consulting Country Brand Ranking in two distinct versions, namely concerning Tourism and Trade. The methodology measures the consistency between a country's external messages and its actual economic performance. Depending on its positioning, a country is predisposed to attract foreign direct investment or tourists.

Here is the Bloom Consulting Ranking List of the most attractive African countries in terms of Tourism:
